Birthdays Are Kind Of A Big Deal

I LOVE my birthday, but I also love making other people’s birthday special too. So if you see me on a regular basis and I know when your birthday is, we are going to celebrate.

Before the birthday boy arrived I decorated my incall with balloons, a doorway streamer thingy and a super cute “Happy Birthday” sign. Being the overachiever that I am, I didn’t stop there. I also made a birthday cake. Yup, you read that right, I didn’t buy it. I spent a couple hours creating a double chocolate and caramel masterpiece. Then accented it with a blingy birthday sign and sparklers.

He was definitely pleasantly surprised by all my little touches. I made sure he knew we’d be celebrating but never expressed to what extent.

The smile that was plastered on his face was absolutely priceless and made our time together that much better.
