Do you have any family traditions you maintain still as an adult or with your kiddos?

Being from a Jamaican household, we always partake in bun and cheese. Not familiar with Jamaican spice bun? Well it’s very similar to a moist spice cake with optional mixed candied fruit and raisins added to it. I prefer mine with just raisins though. Candied fruit has no place in baked goods in my opinion (with the exception of when its blended up and virtually undetectable).

I actually make the spice bun for my family myself as the ones available to purchase just don’t taste very good anymore. They truly don’t make things like they used to.
