Nothing About Content Creation Appeals To Me
I get asked fairly regularly if I have an OnlyFans or something similar. And I don’t.
Then comes the obvious follow-up question: why not?
Well, there are a few reasons.
The first is that it’s simply too much work. Whenever I do something, I do it at 110%, and creating adult content would be no exception. But that means I’d need filming equipment to make sure everything looked the way I wanted. I’d want to rent different locations because having the same backdrop in every video would get boring. Ideally, I’d have an assistant so I could focus on being the talent in the moment. Then there’s editing, uploading, planning, scheduling… Managing all of that would be a full-time job in itself, and I’m not looking to add a third one to my resume.
Next, I don’t like being recorded.
Put a camera in my face and I’m immediately going to get uncomfortable, and I can guarantee nothing is going to look as good as it should. My brain would be focused on “performing” instead of simply being present in the moment, and that takes away a lot of the fun.
Which brings me perfectly to my next point: it would mostly be fake.
In order to consistently put out content, I’d need some sort of filming schedule. The odds of me actually being in the mood every time filming day rolls around? Pretty slim. And honestly, I already don’t enjoy going solo nearly as much as I do being with a partner. So if I’m not particularly enjoying myself, I’m going to have a hard time convincing a camera that I am.
And finally, I don’t want the paper trail.
I absolutely love being a companion, but at some point, this chapter of my life will come to an end. When it does, I don’t want videos of myself floating around the internet potentially haunting me forever.
So, if you’re that curious about what happens behind closed doors, you’ll just have to find out the old-fashioned way…
In person. 😜
